"Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand..."   Joel 2:1

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER ? --   " THAT ISRAEL WON THE WAR "

At the close of war and battles won, nowhere in history has any conquering country that  made military conquests,  ever been required by the rest of the world to give back conquered land and domains.  Yet the whole world expects exactly that of Israel.  Why?

DAVID RUBINOWICZ

The following two photographs are most famous from World War 2 because of their impact in viewing and the message conveyed by the scene.

The photo below is of Dawid Rubinowicz, a 14 year old Polish Jewish boy who was murdered by the Nazis.  His fear and innocence in the face of brutality unequaled in human history, has cast a shadow of guilt and shame upon all future generations.

HIS STORY:

Dawid's story is one of many.  Over one and a half million Jewish children were murdered by the Nazis during World War 2.  Near the end, the Nazis did not even bother to gas them first; they were thrown alive into the ovens.  One of the questions Eichman was asked at the war trial in Jerusalem was, "How did you know  they were dead when you threw them into the furnaces?"  Eichman replied with a smile, "When they stopped screaming..."

Dawid was 14 years old when he and his family disappeared.  It is certain that he and his family met their death in the nearby Treblinka death camp.  Dawid began a diary when he was 12 years old, a copy of which I have in my possession. I purchased the copy I treasure in the Yad VaShem Memorial in Jerusalem. I am told it is out of print.   It is without doubt a most heart-wrenching experience to read it!  I have read every word...

His diary was found after the war amid the rubble the Nazis left behind in Poland.  It has become one of the most important pieces of Jewish literature in the world today.  Jewish children during this time grew only to know a thirst for peace and a hunger to survive.   Dawid's small stature reflects the starvation and malnutrition he endured at the hands of enemies who felt he had no right to exist because he was a Jew...

We Can Understand Why  Israel's motto is:  NEVER AGAIN!

ISRAELI SOLDIERS

You are now viewing perhaps one of the most revealing photos of Israel's age old desire  -   Jerusalem and the Holy Mount of God

SOME OF THE FIRST TO VIEW THE ANCIENT WALL WERE ISRAELI SOLDIERS

This photo set a precedent for Jewish thought and religious observance in that in Jewish worship, it is mandatory for a man to cover his head when he enters a Holy Place.

When these soldiers entered in and stood before the ancient Wailing Wall after nearly 2000 years of exile from its sacredness and inspiration, this young soldier was so overcome with reverence and emotion that he reached up and removed his helmet.

The resulting impact of the photo has touched millions of the world among both Jew and Gentile.  It speaks of the greatness of the human spirit and man's eternal reaching for the Creator.

My guide of 19 tours to Israel told us that when it was announced over the radios and transmitters on the field among the soldiers that the Wailing Wall was in their hands, the soldiers removed their helmets and wept like children...

1967 War

GOLDA MEIR, Israel's Prime Minister from 1969 to 1974 was questioned about her zeal for Israel and Zionism.  Her reply:  "If I am not for me, who will be for me?

"We do not hate the Arabs for killing our children, we hate them for making us kill theirs" -  Golda Meir

FACTS OF GREAT INTEREST

The so-called Arab World has 4,560,000 square miles of land area in which to live.  Israel is asking for only 7,992 square miles in land area in which to live in Peace -  away from the persecution of centuries past at the hands of their fellow man.    Israel has less than 1/500th of land area compared to the Arab world.  Less than 1/5 of 1%!

The Arab world has 21 nations and now they want another one - the 22nd nation within the State of Israel.

The Palestinians are a conquered people.  They need to be grateful that they live in Israel rather than other Arab nations round about them.  For example:  Arab Israelis have access to the finest fruit and vegetables, the finest merchandise , the finest hospitals, the finest medical attention, and the finest dentists (just to mention a few things) in the entire world.  All Arabs or Palestinians living in Israel have access to these very high standards of living -  some of the very best in the entire Middle East!

During the Desert Storm War, every Palestinian was supplied with gas masks.  This did not happen in other Arab countries which were subjected to the threat of poison gas contact.  Palestinians can vote in Israel and they have members in the Knesset.  In Arab countries, Jews are denied such privileges.

One of the most poignant observances in Israel is to observe that Palestinian and Arab children play safely in all the country.  Jewish children cannot...   They have to have constant protection from kidnapping and death at the hands of the Arab community.  Where is the equity and justice in such an arrangement?

The Jewish people have had an attachment to the nation and land of Israel for 3,500 years.  An attachment that has no parallel in the history of nations.  Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people for 3,000 years.  Jerusalem is mentioned 667 times in the Bible, but not once in the Koran.

Isaiah 62:1 "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."

Zechariah 12:2-3  "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people:  all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

It may be of interest for you to note that the United Nations has passed more resolutions concerning Jerusalem than any other subject  in its history.  If the United Nations does indeed represent the nations of the earth, then Jerusalem has become a burdensome stone for all people and we have seen this prophecy come to pass in our lifetime.  Surely Jesus will come in our day!!!

Revelation 16:16  "And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon."

This last battle will be fought by the peoples of the earth over a city called Jerusalem.  That pressure is building now.   It was here that the prophets walked,  their voices lifted  like a trumpet; the Glory of the Lord fell so powerfully at the dedication  of Solomon's Temple that the priests could not see to minister; and the most earthshaking visitation of all:  the sandal-footed footfall of the Messiah Himself was heard upon the stones of this city...  Jerusalem, Israel.

At the beginning of the last century, Jerusalem was a dusty forgotten city with less than 15,000 inhabitants.  Today, it is once again the focus of the world, in the thick of international controversy exactly as the Bible has prophesied.

Arabs did not live in what the Arab world today calls Palestine ie., Israel, including Judea & Samaria before the Arab Muslim conquest of the entire Middle East & North Africa in the 7th Century.  Before that, Arabs were confined to the Arabian peninsula.

The name Palestine was given to the land of Israel  by the Romans after the 135 CE Bar-Kochba revolt, as an attempt to eradicate its historic Jewish identity. The Palestinian people did not exist before Israel became a State.  There has never been a nation-state  - Palestine.

SUNSET:  Islamic Dome of the Rock which now rests on the Biblical Temple Mount - Jerusalem, Israel

Facts Concerning Islam:

With impressive credentials stretching from Rome to Saudi Arabia, Professor Adbul Hadi Palazzi, Director of the Cultural Institute of the Italian Islamic Community has the following to say:

"The Koran recognizes Palestine as the heritage of the Jews  and it explains that before the Last Judgment, Jews will return to dwell there.  This prophesy has already been realized.  Some ignorant Muslims are convinced that Islam urges them to regard Jews as enemies and think of hostility toward Jews as ordered by religion....  God made Jerusalem a direction of prayer for the Jews."

Professor Palazzi goes on to say, "There is no reward for murder in the Koran."  Regarding the political state he said, "I am sorry to say that leaders, dictators, and politicians use religion to serve their personal or national objectives.  The Koran approves neither of their decrees nor of their deeds..."

I find the above statements to be profoundly opposite to what we observe in the present Middle East crisis.   LS

Description of Jesus in the Koran:

How does the Koran describe Jesus?  It says that Jesus was the 'essence' and 'breath of God.'

If He (Jesus) is the breath and essence of God, that means HE IS GOD!

Facts of Sadness:

Despite the oil riches of the Arab countries, ten million Arab children are forced to work to help sustain their families, this was confirmed by Jordan's Princess Basma.    (Printed in Bible Light International JPM News & Prayer Requests)

Please pray for a mighty revelation of Jesus and revival among all Arabs in all Arab countries!!!
